The FCFF's 125-pound Champion, Keaneo Moyer will return to slammer for the fifth time in just over a year. Moyer exploded onto the scene at Rumble 92 with a round-one rear naked choke over Cody Westphal. He wanted more. Moyer verbally challenged the FCFF's 125-pound Champion, Dominick Abalos, who accepted. Seen as the underdog, Moyer impressed the crowd with a 23 second round-one TKO to take the Title in his fourth mma fight. Eager to prove it wasn't luck, Moyer returned at Rumble 95 to face Sean Kalinoski. In only 25 seconds he won via an armbar submission, successfully defending his Title. At Rumble 97 he decided to take on a different challenge. He bumped up in weight and challenged the FCFF's 135-pound Champion, Sage Farnworth. Moyer's ambition was to hold two FCFF Titles simultaneously, which is a rarity in the FCFF. Moyer came up short and Farnworth held onto his Bantamweight Title. After a heartfelt and honest social media message, fans were confirmed that Moyer will come back stronger than ever. "He's a rare type of young fighter that isn't scared off by challenges. He truly wants to fight the toughest guy that he can, and he brings his personality along for the ride," explained FCFF Co-owner and Matchmaker Kevin Keeney. On Saturday, June 9th Moyer will face David Converse, a fighter with immense experience including being one of those rare fighters that actually held two different FCFF titles simultaneously. Converse was the FCFF's 125-pound Flyweight Champion after defeating BJ San Nicholas at Rumble 75 in 2013, then he took on Sean Gee at Rumble 76 to earn a second FCFF division Title as the 135-pound Bantamweight Champion. Since, he's had two wins in 2015 and returned to the FCFF in April at Rumble 97 to face another former FCFF Champion, Abdul Kamara. Converse came out on top via the judge's decision and set his eyes on Moyer.

Previous to this fight, Kanewa had a round-one finish over Maria Schlienger at Arean Wars Total Kombat and a decision victory over Kiki Tumale at Knucklehead 16. Diggins has two MMA wins from 2012 and is looking to come back to the slammer after competing in jujitsu events.

Due to injury, the FCFF's current 145-pound Champion, Yan Kuvaldin will not fight at Rumble at the Roseland 98 as previously scheduled. Eduardo Torres will face Jaylon Bates for the Interim 145-pound Title at Rumble 98. Jaylon Bates is 5-0 and just earned the Tuff-N-Uff Mayhem in Mesquite XIV Title on May 19th by defeating Christopher Elisarraras via a round-two TKO. A month prior to this title, he beat Asa Carlile via a round-two submission at Midtown Throwdown 13. Bates also has three wins in 2017 including a 37 second round-one TKO over Calvin Agabin. He will enter the FCFF's slammer for the first time against Eduardo Torres, who is also undefeated, with all his victories coming from inside the FCFF's Slammer!
The FCFF's 145-pound Champion, Yan Kuvaldin of Impact JJ, returns to the slammer to attempt to defend his division title against Eduardo Torres of Renzo Gracie Academy. Torres is currently undefeated but hasn't yet faced a fighter of Kuvaldin's caliber. Kuvaldin first became the FCFF's Featherweight Champion after an edge-of-your-seat round-four submission via rear naked choke (RNC) over Christopher Logan at Rumble 91 on Saturday, March 18th 2017. Since then, he's earned the title of Champion from the Midtown Throwdown 13 event after a TKO stoppage due to strikes against Zachary Thorne. Torres's three wins have all been within FCFF competition: Erik Kirkpatrick (Rumble 86 / TKO), Exie Benitez (Rumble 88 / RNC), and Nicky Porter (Rumble 95 / KO).
Lately, attention has been on the 125-pound division in the FCFF with a number of world class talents rising through the FCFF's ranks. We're eager to give the fight fans a bout in the 205-pound division for a Superfight belt on Saturday, June 9th. Nathan Smith will face Fernando Alvarado in a BIG-BOY-BRAWL. Alvarado hails from one of the region's top gyms, Gracie Barra, and looks to roll his 10 second knockout win forward and create some momentum. Smith's last fight (Rumble 94) was also a round-one finish. He earned the TKO in only 11 seconds. "This fight could be over in seconds, or go the distance. It's a matter of who will land what, in the opening moments. If they don't land with heavy hands, it could be grueling for these guys," explained Keeney.
The fourth and final belt fight scheduled for Rumble 98 will be in the Flyweight division, between Quetzal Bustos of Moses Lake, WA and Alex Castaneda of Gracie Barra. So far, Castaneda has gone through a number of very tough fighters. In his debut fight, he faced Brendon Dugan at Rumble 93 and won via the judge's decision. Next, he faced Nathan Monaco at Arena Wars Freedom Fighter and earned the round two submission via RNC. In February, he was at Rogue Promotion's Arena Wars and defeated Leon Cavalli via a round three armbar and took their division title. He just faced one hiccup, a loss on Saturday, May 12th at the Knucklehead promotions event to Richard Carranza for their Flyweight Title. He's going to come into the FCFF's slammer hungry and eager to prove to himself that what happened on 5/12 was a one-time-deal.
The FCFF's Rumble 98 fight card has many notable undercard match-ups. The FCFF's former 145-pound Champion, Abdul Kamara is back and will face Sam Crawford. Tunde Arigbon will look to extended his undefeated record against Matt Russo. A 155-pound female fight is on the card between Lorren Dullum (2-0) and Faith Davis (1-1). Also, Max Garrison, the FCFF's 2018 Fighter to Watch just joined the fight card and will face Ivo Wallace in the 155-pound division.
