2014 FCFF Fighter Hall of Fame

Portland, OR – The Full Contact Fighting Federation (FCFF) has released their 2014 "Fighter Hall of Fame" list featuring the best mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes in the pacific northwest. This list features talent in eleven award categories ranging from "Fighter of the Year," "Best Knockout," and the "2015 Fighter to Watch." A number of these award winners are on the fight card for the FCFF's "Rumble @ The Roseland 81" event scheduled for Saturday, April 18th. All award winners have fought during the 2014 calendar year in either the FCFF's "Rumble @ The Roseland" or "Battle at the Mountain" event. Photos attached, larger resolution photos available upon request.


Fighter of the Year: Jordan Melendrez
In 2014 Jordan Melendrez became the FCFF Welterweight Champion and went 4-0 in the Slammer! He became Champ at the FCFF's Battle at the Mountain 2 event in September with an armbar win over Sean Baker. He defended that belt against Freddie Bailey at Rumble 79 in December; winning via a triangle choke in round one.



Fight of the Year: Kalyn Schwartz vs. Lisa Spangler
FCFF Fight fans were blown away by this match-up; which has also earned them both "2015 Fighter to Watch" honors! These female warriors went all five round for the Bantamweight Championship Title at Rumble @ The Roseland 79. Kalyn Schwartz earned the belt via judges decision.




2014 Rookie of the Year: Jordan Melendrez







Best Female Fighter of 2014: Leanne Foster the FCFF's 145-pound Champion.






Best Knockout of 2014: Andrew Gundlach's knockout of Billy Denney in :27 seconds of round one at Rumble @ The Roseland 76.






Fastest Knockout of 2014: Monti Wilson's knockout of Erol Cruz in :03 seconds of round one at Rumble @ the Roseland 79.






Best Choke of 2014: Sean Gee's choke over Jake Marshall at Rumble @ The Roseland 78 for the Bantamweight Championship!






Craziest Hair: Casey Lunzman







Most Improved of 2014: Kody Hammond. Hammond went 2-1 in 2014 in the FCFF with his only loss being to Sean Soliz for the Title. Hammond has turned a corner and is on his way to the pros.






2015 "Fighter to Watch": Kalyn Schwartz & Lisa Spangler. These two fighters did so incredible at Rumble @ The Roseland 79 in December 2014 that we can't wait to see them compete again in 2015.
