Cody Randall has a bright athletic future in front of him. He has already earned three State Championship titles in the 145-pound division and will be attending Clackamas Community College in the Fall of this year. "The program at Clackamas is so good. Every guy in there is really tough," says Randall. He plans on moving to a Division I college after a year or two at Clackamas CC. He also earned the title of "Most Outstanding Wrestler" for all 4A schools in their league; as well as earning a first place finish at the OSU Freestyle State Wrestling Tournament and a second place finish at the Roman Greco Tournament at Oregon City High School this year. "Cody has a lot of promise. We have seen some great wrestlers go really far in MMA. Chael Sonnen is a perfect example of that. He was an Olympic team alternate and is going to fight for the UFC Middleweight Championship title on August 7th," said FCFF matchmaker and co-owner Kevin Keeney. On Saturday, May 22nd he will step into a new arena, a new sport and hopefully bring home a win.

Fortino Sanchez, the longtime friend of Randall, will also be on the May 22nd event card. "Cody got me to join the wrestling team my freshman year," Sanchez said, and he has never looked back. Sanchez is known for producing in clutch matches. When their team was tied for 3rd place against Cascade, the last match established the winner - it was all up to him. He produced, by beating his opponent by two points; and brought home a wrestling team trophy to North Marion High School. He earned a respectable 7th place finish in State competition and is considering either joining the military and becoming a Marine or going to Clackamas Community College.
